Ab kommenden Montag, den 8. April wird auf der Baustelle des Erdgasspeichers in Jemgum gebohrt. Hierzu wurde eine Bohranlage auf einem der beiden Kavernenplätze aufgebaut.

In a non-discriminatory coded procedure, astora GmbH & Co. KG has auctioned off capacities in the Haidach storage facility through the store-x trading platform. However, the current market situation meant that the bids at the auction for the 2013/2014 storage year failed to meet expectations.

astora has been offering its customers additional capacities in the Rehden natural gas storage facility since 1 January 2013. The working gas volume is increasing from 4.2 to 4.4 billion cubic meters, the cushion gas volume is therefore decreasing from 2.8 to 2.6 billion cubic meters.

astora can look back on a successful first year of business. Now the natural gas storage company wants to give something back to the community and is supporting the German Society for the Protection of Children (Kinderschutzbund) in Kassel, where the company is based, with a donation of 5,000 euros overall.

Our shareholders BASF/Wintershall and Gazprom have agreed to intensify their collaboration in shared upstream activities.
