astora allocates further capacity in the Rehden storage facility for 2023/24

Kassel, 2 March 2023. astora allocates further storage capacities in the Rehden facility for the storage year 2023/2024 via the PRISMA capacity platform.

The offer of this additional storage capacity is based on the temporary increase in the gross calorific value.

The firm working gas volume totals 0.988 TWh and is offered in 5 bundles of 197,644,400 kWh each. The associated firm injection capacity is 65,025 kWh/h and the firm withdrawal capacity 100,025 kWh/h.

To be able to meet the filling level requirements and to allow a complete withdrawal, the storage customer is entitled to withdraw the working gas on interruptible basis until 01/06/2024. The interruptible working gas volume available to the storage customer for this purpose amounts to 10% of its firm working gas volume (19,764,440 kWh/bundle). The interruptible withdrawal capacity is 12,670 kWh/h/bundle. Depending on the storage utilisation, booking and use of additional interruptible withdrawal capacity is possible.

No variable fee is charged for the storage product. The respective current filling level requirements and storage curves shall be considered.

Bids can be submitted on 9 March 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (CET). Companies that are not yet registered and interested in participating are asked to submit a request via PRISMA, taking into account the registration deadline.
