Tender for own supply of technical gas
Kassel, 28 February 2023: astora GmbH is conducting a tender for the supply of technical gas for the Jemgum and Rehden natural gas storage facilities. The technical gas is required for the technical operation of the storage facilities. The storage facilities' technical gas is supplied via the "Rehden natural gas storage facility flange" delivery point, which is connected to the GASCADE gas transmission system.
The delivery period is from 1 April 2023 until 1 April 2024 with an option for extension by one year respectively with effect from 1 April of the respective following year. astora will nominate the required quantities (flat delivery) with advance notice.
Suppliers wishing to participate in the tender are invited to submit offers by 17 March 2023, 12.00 p.m. (CET/CEST).

astora GmbH, based in Kassel, is part of the SEFE Group and one of the largest natural gas storage operators in Europe. The company maintains one of the largest natural gas storage facilities in Western Europe at Rehden in Northern Germany, which has a working gas volume of about four billion cubic metres. In addition, the storage company also markets its capacity in the second largest storage facility in Central Europe, located in Haidach, Austria. In order to secure natural gas supplies to Europe, astora also operates and markets 5/6 of the capacity in the Jemgum cavern storage facility on the German-Dutch border.
