Furthermore, hydrogen is an essential and promising approach for storage facilities to contribute to future energy supply. Existing storage facilities can back up billions of kilowatt hours of energy by converting renewable electricity or natural gas into hydrogen and inserting it into existing natural gas infrastructure. Our objective is to have this technology in widespread usage within the next five years.
