Allocation of highly flexible capacity now also at UGS Jemgum

Kassel, 24 June 2021: The principle that has proven itself in Haidach is now also being transferred to the Jemgum storage facility: Via the PRISMA platform, customers can book volume on an interruptible basis with astora at any time at a fixed price and combine it with injection and withdrawal capacity on demand.

The offer is valid from 01.07.2021 and the contract term for the volume can be chosen flexibly within the period from 01.07.2021 to 01.04.2022. Companies not yet registered and interested in participating are requested to submit a request via PRISMA. Please note that there are lead times and a minimum booking period of 3 months for new customers.

Contracts are nominated via the storage portal, unless the customer already has a communication connection with astora or meets other conditions mentioned in the specification. Existing customers can also use the offer for a period of one month, for example to extend their storage contract and thus to be able to postpone withdrawals.

For new customers, the storage specification “Interruptible Storage Capacity Jemgum” applies, which is attached on PRISMA. In order to ensure planning security, the prices for injection and withdrawal are herein guaranteed until 01.04.2022. Additional variable injection charges do not apply.

astora GmbH, based in Kassel, is part of the SEFE Group and one of the largest natural gas storage operators in Europe.
